What is your favorite thing about the community?
I love to walk into the school and be surrounded by people that aspire to build something special together.
What are the typical characteristics of an IST student?
Enthusiastic, curious, brave: a dreamer.
What is your favorite memory at IST?
All the extra curricular activities I’ve done, like our wonderful field trips and the Spanish Theatre Festival, as they allowed me to know and appreciate the person behind the student.
What would you be if you aren’t a teacher?
I am a teacher at heart and I am humbled by the chance to make an impact in young people’s lives. That said, since I was very young, my two biggest passions have been Literature and Art, and to date I still love to write and draw in my free time, therefore I think I would be a graphic novel author. This way I could combine my passions and still reach young people.
