Parents wishing to enroll their children in the International School of Trieste should arrange an appointment through the school office (from 8:35am to 3:45pm) for a first orientation contact. Parents will be welcomed by the two Family Tutors, one teacher and one parent, who will show the school and will answer to all the questions concerning didactics and school life.
For children seeking admission to the Elementary, Middle School or High School sections, an admission test and/or an interview with the director and the teachers is required in order to determine the scholastic level of the candidate and preparation for the class for which he/she has applied. This also serves to determine if English as a Second Language (ESL) support would be necessary. Students entering in the Elementary, Junior High School and High School sections must provide the school with their two most recent report cards upon application.
Admission and enrollment forms will be given to the parents when visiting the school or can either be downloaded from our website or can be required via email addressing the request to Ms. Elisa Scremin ( firstname.lastname@example.org). Forms can be handed into the School Office, either in person, or via email ( email@example.com) or via fax (+39 040 213122).
Enrollment is possible at any time during the school year.
STUDY ALLOWANCE AND TRANSPORTATION FEE CONTRIBUTIONS: families with children attending Elementary and Upper School grades at the IST have the possibility to apply for regional contributions (Regional Law 14/91 and 2/98).
