The school is located in Opicina, a Carso village some 4 kms from the city of Trieste. The Carso is an elevated plateau surrounding Trieste and is known for its natural beauty. The two-storey modern building is located within the Villaggio del Fanciullo grounds, a tranquil parkland complex also containing various sports facilities. The building, considered an architectural landmark, has been completely restored and provides an attractive, colorful and pleasant learning environment. Classrooms have all been newly refurnished and are bright and cheerful. Facilities include a well equipped library, state of the art computer lab, science lab, art room, cafeteria and gymnasium. The school has its own kitchen and a full hot lunch is included in the tuition. Outdoor play areas include facilities for soccer, basketball, volleyball, and an adventure playground for younger children. The school also provides a bus service from the city center.
